About Us

Our story

Better nights. Easier mornings. More good years.

OrthoCanine started with an old dog and a groan. Size XL OrthoCanine bed, 100 x 65 x 20 cm, with a Labrador Retriever asleep on it

Every morning, our senior Labrador would haul himself up off a flat, worn-out bed with a groan that got a little louder each year. We tried the “orthopedic” beds on the shelf. They flattened in weeks. So we set out to find the one we wished existed.

Engineered, not stuffed

We obsessed over the parts that matter: a dense orthopedic memory foam core that spreads weight evenly and lifts pressure off hips, elbows and spine. Raised bolster walls for head-and-neck support and that safe, curled-in feeling dogs instinctively seek. A ribbed corduroy cover that zips off and machine-washes clean, over a waterproof liner and a non-slip base that grips any floor.

Built for every breed. Five sizes from 2 kg toy breeds to 45 kg giants, in thirteen furniture-grade colourways chosen to disappear into a real living room.
Made to last. Shape-holding foam that does not go flat — because a bed you replace every year is not orthopedic, it is disposable.
Risk-free. A 30-night trial, free shipping, and real humans on the other end of every email.

Two weeks after our Lab first slept on it, he was beating us to the door again. That is the whole mission: give dogs their mornings back, and give owners a few more good years with them.

OrthoCanine beds are a comfort and support product, not a medical device. They are not intended to diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to your veterinarian about your dog’s joint health.
